Director, Transactions Tax

Opportunity in a Leading International firm.

This firm seeks a Transactions Tax Director to join them. The main function of this role is to provide expert tax advice and support on a variety of transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings. The responsibilities also include leading a team of tax professionals, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations. The role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate complex tax issues and provide innovative solutions to clients.

KEY DUTIES:
- Providing technical tax advice on a variety of transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings
- Leading and mentoring a team of tax professionals
- Managing client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction
- Ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations
- Conducting internal quality control reviews
- Performing due diligence on potential acquisitions

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:
- Extensive experience in transactions tax, preferably in a professional services firm
- Strong technical knowledge of tax regulations and compliance
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions to complex tax issues
