About the Role

Opportunity in a Big 4 firm.

This firm seeks a motivated and ambitious individual to join them, focusing on assisting clients with trade automation and transformation programmes. They are offering a dynamic role within a fast-growing part of their Tax practice, with the chance to work with significant multinational clients.

The successful candidate will engage with clients to maximise the value of their ERP systems and trade automation solutions from a Customs and Trade perspective. This role involves working on a wide range of operational, systems, and technology projects, including ERP system trade optimisation, process controls, and supply chain management. 


KEY DUTIES:


- Engaging with clients to identify and implement the right technology tools for trade and tax requirements.
- Managing ERP systems and additional trade automation solutions to deliver effective Customs and Trade outcomes.
- Driving operational, systems, and technology projects, including ERP system trade optimisation.
- Collaborating with the global network, including Tax and non-Tax SMEs, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Assisting clients in understanding the technical challenges of Customs and Trade and providing strategic guidance.
- Working with innovative technologies to enhance trade automation processes.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

- Business consulting experience, with the ability to independently interact with clients on large-scale projects.
- Proven experience in trade solution development, design, or implementation, not limited to SAP trade solutions.
- ERP experience (SAP or non-SAP) with a good understanding of ERP processes around Sales, Procurement, and Logistics.
- Strong understanding of technologies such as SQL/CDS views, data and analytics tools, cloud computing, AI/ML.
- Experience with warehouse, transport, and logistics tech solutions is preferred but not essential.
