Opportunity in a Top 100 firm.

This independent firm is seeking an accomplished professional to join its corporate tax division. The selected individual will collaborate closely with senior management and regional teams, applying advanced technical knowledge to deliver high-quality services, mentor junior staff, and engage in complex compliance and advisory projects. The role also offers the potential for business development involvement.

The firm serves a diverse range of clients across various industries, including small businesses, large corporations, owner-managed enterprises, international subsidiaries, charitable organisations, and Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs).

Applicants should have recent experience within professional services, possess a thorough understanding of corporate and business taxation, and hold relevant qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or ATT. Strong expertise in tax compliance, advisory work, and technical tax planning is required, along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside a proactive and diligent approach to their work. Extensive experience in corporate and business tax, particularly within a professional services environment, is essential. Specialised knowledge in areas such as Corporation Tax Returns, remuneration strategies, business transactions, group restructures, R&D tax credits, and international tax issues is highly desirable. The role may also require collaboration with the Corporate Finance team, particularly in tax due diligence and mergers and acquisitions.
