About the Role

Opportunity in a National Practice.

This firm is offering an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Tax Manager to join its expanding Thames Valley tax team.  This role is ideal for an Assistant Manager seeking progression or a Manager searching for new challenges and growth potential.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with tax partners, delivering UK and international project-based work while overseeing more complex compliance tasks for a diverse client portfolio. This includes companies ranging from owner-managed businesses to publicly listed corporations. You will also play a key role in business development, working with the team to generate new opportunities.

Candidates should hold an ACA/CTA qualification (or equivalent) and possess significant practical tax experience, particularly in managing compliance for large groups and delivering advisory projects such as restructures, capital allowance analysis, and HMRC queries. The ability to work collaboratively with other tax professionals, auditors, and corporate finance colleagues is essential.

Key responsibilities include leading tax advisory projects, managing client compliance, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining the highest standards of client service and risk management. This firm is looking for someone who demonstrates leadership, offers guidance to junior staff, and consistently delivers quality service.

A strong foundation in UK corporate tax and accounting, coupled with excellent analytical and risk management skills, is essential.
