Opportunity in an Independent Law firm.

This firm is seeking a motivated Corporate Tax and Incentives Senior Associate to provide high-quality advisory services, ensuring excellence in all client interactions. The ideal candidate will build expertise in specific sectors and establish themselves as a trusted advisor to clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with Partners while managing a personal portfolio of corporate tax and incentives cases.
  • Leading incentives projects under the guidance of Partners and cultivating strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Engaging in business development efforts, with the opportunity to drive growth in specific areas of the practice.
  • Mentoring and supporting newly qualified Associates and Trainees, helping them grow within the team.

Applications are encouraged from those with experience in both Corporate Tax and Incentives, or a specialisation in either area.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified Solicitor (SRA or Law Society Registered) with comprehensive knowledge of UK Corporation Tax, Income Tax, VAT, and Stamp Duty Land Tax, ideally with 4-8 years of PQE, although other levels of experience will be considered.
  • Proactive, with excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills, able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Capable of providing clear, practical legal and tax advice that aligns with clients' commercial objectives.
  • Commercially aware, with some background in business development, and skilled in building and sustaining client relationships.
  • Dedicated to understanding client needs and working in their best interests as well as those of the firm.
  • Eager to contribute to a team-oriented culture and support the development of junior team members.
