Consultant / Senior Consultant, VAT Compliance

The role supports their Insolvency Delivery Team, which is crucial to their operations across all offices, handling statutory reporting and case management for insolvency assignments.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the insolvency VAT compliance calendar, assisting case administrators with VAT-related matters, and preparing VAT returns for companies in various industries undergoing administration or liquidation. The successful candidate will liaise with HMRC, draft tax comments for creditor reports, deliver VAT training, and contribute to process development.

The ideal applicant possesses strong UK VAT technical knowledge, experience in compliance management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform under pressure. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
