This firm is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Audit Partner to join its team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in leading client engagements across a diverse range of industries. The position demands a strategic approach to driving revenue growth, enhancing client relationships, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Assume leadership in managing a varied portfolio of clients from multiple sectors, taking full responsibility for the allocation of work, and maintaining the highest standards of client service throughout the engagement.
  • Business Development: Drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities to expand existing service offerings and introducing new ones. This requires a broad understanding of business strategy and commercial acumen to add tangible value to clients and the firm.
  • Collaboration & Marketing: Work collaboratively across departments to propose ideas and concepts that promote increased marketing opportunities with existing clients. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the services offered by the firm to leverage internal resources effectively.
  • Audit Management: Oversee the complete audit process, from planning to execution, including the management of budgets, timelines, and quality control. Ideally, the successful candidate will serve as the Responsible Individual (RI) for client engagements.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification is essential. Candidates who have achieved or are actively working towards RI status will be given preference.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a strong ability to analyse complex business scenarios, identifying key issues and priorities. Possess an excellent working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in managing a substantial portfolio of clients at a senior level, coupled with the capability to lead and mentor a team of professionals effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Confident communicator, with the ability to engage and build rapport with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making skills with the ability to address challenges, solve problems, and take appropriate actions to meet client needs and firm objectives.
