Opportunity in an Independent Law firm.

This firm is seeking a Corporate Tax Associate to join their team. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to the delivery of high-quality legal services and will actively participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing the firm’s internal operations. The role involves maintaining high performance standards, ensuring alignment with the firm's strategic objectives, and effectively managing a varied caseload to contribute to both personal and team success.

As an Associate with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), you will support the professional development of junior team members while continuing to enhance your own legal expertise. The position also requires active involvement in business development initiatives, where you will be expected to understand client needs, lead efforts in client relationship management, engage in networking activities, and collaborate with colleagues to drive the firm's sustainable growth.

Key qualifications for this role include demonstrated experience in handling complex corporate tax matters, strong teamwork and communication skills, and the ability to manage a diverse workload with efficiency and precision. The ideal candidate will be self-driven and committed to ongoing professional development, with a proven track record of mentoring and leading others. Candidates must be qualified solicitors, registered with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) or the Law Society of Scotland.
