This firm is seeking an experienced R&D Assistant Manager to join their team. The Innovation team is a high-performance unit comprised of individuals from diverse backgrounds, including marine engineering, tax accountancy, physics, chemistry, and even astrophysics. They operate more like a family, taking care of each other and building something special that will endure.

Key Responsibilities:

Support R&D Delivery Managers on claims, frequently taking responsibility for many aspects of an engagement and owning a portfolio of smaller engagements
Deliver quality work for our exciting clients across various industries
Contribute to running client meetings, leading discussions about the technical and tax aspects of claims
Support aspects of business development, helping to grow our client base
Contribute to practice management, such as training, recruitment, and marketing
Serve as a role model for junior members of the team, supporting each other and fostering professional development

Qualifications:

Experience in R&D tax claims from both a technical and financial perspective
Experience with Patent Box claims is preferred, but not essential
Proven track record in building solid relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
Analytical mindset with a process-oriented approach
