Assistant Manager, Employment Taxes

This firm is searching for an experienced Assistant Manager to join a successful and expanding national  Employment Tax team, offering excellent opportunities for career development and progression.

The role

As an experienced Assistant Manager within the Employment Tax team, you will:

• Advise a diverse portfolio of clients on a broad range of employment tax matters, including the application of PAYE and National Insurance Contributions to payments, expenses and employee benefits.
• Support employers in identifying cost savings through the implementation of effective pay, benefits and reward structures.  
• Manage Employment Tax compliance and help clients identify and mitigate both internal and external risks, including year-end reporting, National Minimum Wage and holiday pay.
• Assist with a range of Employment Tax reviews, including due diligence, health checks Senior Accounting Officer reviews and standalone assignments.   
• Play an integral role within the Employment Tax and wider Employer Solutions team, contributing to interesting and varied projects across a diverse client base.
• Help strengthen the reputation and profile of the Employment Tax team through the delivery of high-quality client work and service.

Qualifications

To be successful as an Assistant Manager within Employment Tax, you will ideally have:

• An ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent proffessional qualification,  preferably with a tax focus.
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to take the lead on projects.
• At least three years escperience within Employment Tax.
