About the Role

Opportunity in a Big 4 firm.

This firm is currently seeking Senior Tax Advisors with a focus on a funds tax to support their growth objective. Ideal candidates will have experience in advisory roles, particularly in international tax fund structuring, and will provide guidance on various UK corporate tax issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising on a broad range of tax matters including fund tax, international tax, UK corporation tax, UK income tax, capital gains tax, and other relevant issues within the Wealth and Asset Management sector.
  • Building and maintaining long-term client relationships, acting as their trusted advisor.
  • Engaging in direct communication with clients, both verbally and in writing.
  • Collaborating with colleagues in other offices, both within the UK and internationally.
  • Liaising with HM Revenue & Customs and other third parties, including major financial institutions, legal professionals, and wealth advisory firms.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

  • Proven ability to provide tax advice to clients in the Wealth and Asset Management sector, with some experience in international tax matters.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to deliver work of a professional standard.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and adaptability to new systems.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, and confidence.
  • Relevant experience in providing tax advice within the Wealth and Asset Management sector.
  • A suitable qualification (e.g., CTA, CA (ICAS), ACA, or ATT).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
